Snowmobile Rental/Lease Agreement

The undersigned lessee agrees to rent the snowmobile described below at the rate and conditions established by the lessor and to furnish the required deposit, which will be refunded upon return of the rental snowmobile in a condition satisfactory to the lessor. The lessee agrees to pay for any and all damages to the snowmobile caused, while in his/her possession.

The undersigned lessee acknowledges that Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve Ltd. Does NOT carry Collision Insurance and that he/she is responsible for any and all claims and damages, even in excess of the deposit and that all visible existing defects prior to this rental are noted below.

The lessee understands that the coverage on HaliburtonForest snowmobile rentals offers basic Ontario Automobile Accident Benefits only. Should renters require additional coverage they shall contact their own automobile insurance company.

The lessee agrees to abide by all rules governing the safe operation of snowmobiles, especially, but not limited to: wearing a helmet at all times, keeping feet on the running boards, using the appropriate caution at all times, adhering to the speed limit of 50 km/h on trails, to be familiar with throttle and brake controls, following all warnings posted on the snowmobile, wearing appropriate clothing, being especially careful on icy trail sections, and never tailgating.

The lessee agrees to assume all risks and liability for the use and operation of the rented snowmobile. The lessee agrees to hold harmless the lessor, its successors, heirs, and assigns from any and all claims for bodily injury and property other than the lessee which the lessee may allow to be passengers or to ride the leased snowmobile. The lessee agrees to lease the snowmobile on an “as is” basis.

The lessee states that he/she is in a physical condition which enables him/her to operate a snowmobile. The lessee confirms that he/she has been introduced to the operation of the snowmobile by the lessor. Furthermore the lessee confirms that he/she is aware of the potential dangers involved in operating a snowmobile

You are responsible for full replacement cost of the machine if it is stolen while in your possession. Credit Card # of lessee which will be billed in the event of damage:
